The mentorship program is designed to provide one-to-one support to a selected cohort of candidates who have successfully completed the 100 hours training program. Post completion of the training, candidates would undergo a screening process based on weighted scores of training attendance, business idea presentation, trainers’ scoring, and third-party assessment scoring. Through screening,1,000 out of the 10,000 candidates will be selected. These 1,000 selected candidates would be linked to a mentor from the mentor pool. The matched mentor would provide handholding and mentoring support to the selected candidates for 24 weeks. The mentoring support would help them embark on their entrepreneurial journey with the confidence and skills to conduct business operations. Mentoring is a voluntary activity by mentors.

Who can be a Mentor?
-
Existing entrepreneurs / with credible record history with around 2-5 years of entrepreneurial experience
-
CXOs/Senior leadership of private companies/non-profits related to self-employment entrepreneurs sectors/trades
-
Intrapreneurs who have successfully headed a project/program within an organisation and have worked with more than 10 people in establishing the program/have a portfolio of over INR 20 lakhs
-
Academicians with 10-15 years of experience from B-Schools/corporates/freelancers in the field of entrepreneurship, cooperatives, marketing, business strategy or leadership.

Government and private agencies/organisations having functional incubation centres within and outside the State such as Atal Incubation Centre, Utkal Centre for Innovation and Incubation Foundation (Odisha)

Entrepreneurship Development Program cells of educational institutes within and outside the state

Ex / Current Directors of relevant Govt. departments in Odisha and other states like Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh

Individuals with more than 5 years of experience and expertise in indicative core domains as listed below. Retired professionals with domain expertise may also be considered.

Bootcamp mode mentoring
Two boot camps over 6 months would cover a cohort of 10 mentees. To include personalised training programs offering intense, hands-on exposure to the fundamentals of launching and growing a successful venture.
Mentees to have access to a group of industry experts. Experts to have unique experiences & expertise and offer niche industry knowledge sharing with mentees, best suited to their needs and goals.
Mentee to receive dedicated guidance and support from their matched mentor, helping them to build skills and knowledge in their field. Mentorship coordinators in the field as additional support to track the progress of mentorship and the growth trajectory of self-employed or entrepreneurial activities.
